Stillwater Celebrates Halloween with Movie Night

October 29, 2018

Stillwater's Back Porch was the site of our Halloween Movie Night, held on Saturday, October 27, for residents of Stillwater. The community-wide event featured the critically acclaimed Disney/Pixar film Coco, which is inspired by Día de los Muertos (“Day of the Dead”). Prior to the screening, kids enjoyed various lawn games and activities, and were invited to participate in a Halloween costume parade. As the sun was setting, residents illuminated The Back Porch with colored glow sticks. This year, there were a variety of creative ideas, including "Harry Potter," "Peter Pan," and characters from Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Attendees got a head start on the Halloween sugar rush by enjoying free candy; fresh popcorn was served on site. Special thanks to Gracepoint Homes and Darling Homes for donating door prizes, which were awarded to Alex and Meredith Kajdan and Michael Horvath. View all the Halloween Movie Night photos here.
